This popular and well established event is now in its 18th year. It is still staged by the original team of volunteers and is justifiably proud of its continuing support for the airfield-based Air Ambulance. Given reasonable flying weather we expect to host well over 100 vintage, classic and current light aircraft. Our Classic Car paddock features everything from 1930s sports cars, military vehicles and modern Supercars. There is all-day catering from the Clubhouse and Marquee and our Barbecues are not to be missed. A special and unique feature is the lunch-time ‘Airpark Opening’; your chance to visit the aircraft for close-up photos and a chat with some of the pilots. Subject to tasking the Air Ambulance…new this year…will also come over to ‘meet-and-greet’. We are delighted to announce that our regular BBMF ‘Fly-past Salute’ will have the newly overhauled LANCASTER escorted by TWO SPITFIRES. Once again our prices are unchanged at just £5 for adults and acc. u/16s free…carparks are also free. For the latest information see us on www.dorsetcarclub.co.uk and follow us on Facebook.
